Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Ecomma FZCO uses cookies and similar technologies on ecomma.co and its subdomains.
Effective date: 12 August 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Ecomma FZCO ("Ecomma," "we," "our," "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on ecomma.co and its subdomains (the "Website"). It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies, such as browser local storage, work in comparable ways: they let a site remember information about your visit on your own device. This policy covers both.
2. Our Consent Banner
Analytics and marketing cookies are off by default for visitors who require consent. If you are visiting from the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, or if we cannot reliably determine where you are, no analytics or marketing technology loads until you make a choice. Where we can determine that you are outside those regions, the banner is not shown.
The banner offers three options:
- Accept all: loads analytics and marketing cookies.
- Reject non-essential: loads nothing beyond what the site strictly needs to work. Choosing this is treated the same as never having been tracked.
- Customize settings: choose analytics and marketing independently, then save.
Nothing is set before you save a choice. Your choice is recorded in your browser's local storage under the key ecomma-consent-v1 together with the date and time you made it, and it applies on every later visit until you change it. We pass your choice to Google through Google Consent Mode v2 before any Google tag loads, so Google's own tags honor it too.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the Cookie preferences link in the Website footer. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out while consent was given.
3. Cookies and Similar Storage We Use
Essential (always on, no consent needed)
The Website itself sets no essential cookies. Two local-storage items are strictly necessary for the features that use them:
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| ecomma-consent-v1 | Ecomma (local storage) | Remembers your cookie choice and when you made it. | Until you clear it or change your choice |
| sb-…-auth-token | Supabase (local storage) | Keeps you signed in to the Pricing Model tool (/pricingmodel) after you sign in with Google. Only present if you use that tool. | Until you sign out or clear site data |
Analytics (only with your consent)
We use Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager (provider: Google Ireland Ltd.) to understand aggregate traffic: which pages are useful, where visits come from, and how the site performs.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Distinguishes visitors in aggregate reports. | About 13 months (400 days) | |
| _ga_PQX6TRTCZB | Maintains session state for our GA4 property. | About 13 months (400 days) |
Google Tag Manager itself sets no analytics cookies, but depending on the tags we enable it may add measurement cookies related to advertising (for example after you click one of our ads). Google receives these only while analytics consent is granted, and always under the Consent Mode settings above.
Marketing (only with your consent)
We use HubSpot (provider: HubSpot Inc., hosted in the EU, portal 26927134) as our customer-relationship system, and we capture advertising click IDs so a an enquiry can be connected to the ad that led to it.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| __hstc | HubSpot | Main visitor-tracking cookie; connects repeat visits to the same contact record. | 6 months (180 days) |
| hubspotutk | HubSpot | Visitor token used when you submit a form, so the submission reaches the right record. | 6 months (180 days) |
| __hssc | HubSpot | Session cookie for the current visit. | 30 minutes |
| __hssrc | HubSpot | Detects whether the visitor has restarted their browser session. | Session |
| gclid, gbraid, wbraid, fbclid | Ecomma (first-party) | Set by us, only when you arrive via an ad link, to remember the ad click ID so a later enquiry can be attributed to the campaign. | 90 days |
4. Embedded Third-Party Tools
A few pages embed tools that are operated by third parties. When you use them, the provider may set its own cookies or storage inside the embedded content, governed by that provider's own privacy policy:
- Calendly: call scheduling on the Book a call page.
- DocuSign: the embedded offer form on our Submit an Offer page.
5. How We Use the Information
We use cookies and similar storage to:
- Enable the Website to function securely and reliably;
- Remember your consent choice;
- Measure Website performance and visitor behavior (with consent);
- Connect enquiries to the advertising that led to them (with consent);
- Keep signed-in sessions working in the Pricing Model tool.
6. Managing Your Choices
- Change or withdraw consent: use the Cookie preferences link in the Website footer at any time. Your new choice applies immediately and on all later visits.
- Reset completely: clear cookies and site data for ecomma.co in your browser and reload the page. The banner will ask you again.
- Browser controls: you can also manage or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.

7. International Visitors
For visitors in the EEA and the UK, our use of non-essential cookies is based on consent under GDPR / UK-GDPR and the ePrivacy rules. You can withdraw consent at any time as described above.
For California residents, certain cookie-based sharing may qualify as "sharing" under the CCPA/CPRA. Rejecting non-essential cookies via the banner stops that sharing. You may also send a Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information request to itsystems@ecomma.co.
8. Updates to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Effective Date." When the set of trackers changes materially, previously stored consent choices are discarded and the banner asks again.
